Maggie's Canine Comfort
After several years caring for dogs in the USA and abroad, I look forward to continuing my love of these wonderful animals by caring for your pet at my home. Over the past year I have had to say goodbye to our two gorgeous elderly dogs. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac and have plenty of spare time. I can guarantee your pet will be cared for in a responsible and loving manner. Willing to care for one dog overnight or for longer periods, or possibly two if they are the same family. My main requirement is that your pets be fully housetrained. Although I don't have a fenced yard, there is a huge expanse of green in the subdivision where dogs can run on a long leash.

We used Maggie back in 2021, and when we reached out again recently, she still remembered us—and even had all of Coffee and Miso’s info saved. That really meant a lot and shows how thoughtful and organized she is. As always, she took amazing care of our dogs. Coffee (the wild one) and Miso (the calm one) were happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved when we picked them up. Maggie kept us updated while we were away, and we never had to worry. She’s warm, reliable, and just so great with animals. We’re really grateful to have found her and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!
Maggie is the perfect host for our very senior Bichon, Xena. Being both blind and deaf, Xena often gets worried when I she is in an unknown environment. But at Maggie's home, she is calm, happy, and worry-free, which makes our time apart much easier on all of us! Thank you again, Maggie, for letting her stay with you!
Maggie and her family went above and beyond to ensure that our Maltese dog named Bond was well cared for and safe. They treated him like he was their very own. They walked him frequently and gave him the attention he demands! ;) They sent us photos often. Without a doubt, they are the best dog sitters we have ever had. We appreciate them very much as we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Bond was in good hands!

Schedule
I am retired so have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I can walk them through this very quiet neighborhood as well in the parklike setting in the subdivision.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets get lots of freedom and are treated as one of the family. They are happy to be on my lap and can sleep on our bed if that is what they do at home. Note: photos are of dogs we had in our previous home. We have no fenced yard in our small subdivision but plenty of walking areas.
A typical day
I love to take pets out, especially to the green near the house where we can play whatever your pet enjoys. If pets are older and don't want to walk so much, they will get plenty of loving with me.
