Availability

I currently work as a case manager, which means my weekly schedule is flexible and varies day-to-day. I have appointments at different times throughout the week, but I’m able to come and go as needed. With a little notice, I can schedule my work appointments around your availability and your pet’s routine. I’m used to balancing a dynamic schedule, so making sure your pet gets the consistent care, walks, and attention they need is always a priority.

Safety, trust & environment

As a dog mom to two high-energy, love-filled pups, I know how important structure, attention, and affection are. At home, our days include frequent walks, plenty of yard time to burn off energy, and a consistent meal and treat routine. We use clear, consistent verbiage for commands and always reward good behavior; lots of praise, treats, and even more snuggles. I love keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated, so car rides, errands, and controlled socialization are a regular part of our routine. I bring that same approach to caring for pets in a client’s home. I follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s routine intact, and make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away. Whether they need exercise, structure, gentle reassurance, or just someone to hang out with, I meet each pet where they are and give them the same level of care I give my own.

Information Maggie N. would like to know about your pet

To give your pet the best care possible, I like to learn a few key details before the stay: - Daily Routine: Feeding times, walk schedule, potty habits, and any routines they rely on. - Personality & Energy Level: Are they shy, energetic, cuddly, anxious, independent? What helps them feel safe? - Training & Commands: Words you use for commands, rules in your home, and any behaviors you’re reinforcing. - Medical Needs: Medications, allergies, sensitivities, or any health issues I should watch for. - Social Preferences: How they do around other dogs, kids, or strangers and whether they’re comfortable in new environments. - Triggers or Fears: Loud noises, certain situations, separation anxiety, resource guarding, etc. - Treats & Food Restrictions: What they can have, what they shouldn’t have, and their favorite snacks. - Crate Use & Comfort Items: If they use a crate, sleep in a certain spot, or have a favorite toy or blanket. - Emergency Contacts: Your vet information and any backup contacts, just in case. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can match their routine and make them feel completely comfortable and loved while you’re away.

A typical day

I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy, so I tailor activities to each dog’s personality and energy level. Some of the fun things your pet can enjoy with me include: Walks & Sniff Adventures - not just quick potty breaks, but real walks with time to explore and sniff around. Yard Time & Play Sessions - fetch, tug-of-war, chase, or just zoomies in the yard to burn off energy. Training Reinforcement - using consistent commands and positive reinforcement to keep their skills sharp. Enrichment Activities - puzzle toys, treat searches, or mental games to keep them stimulated. Cuddle & Calm Time - for the pups who love affection, we do plenty of belly rubs, couch snuggles, and quiet bonding time. Car Rides & Controlled Socialization - if allowed, I bring dogs along for errands or little outings to give them a change of scenery and fun, safe social experiences. Routine & Comfort - I always match the activities your pet is used to so they feel secure and at home. No matter the pet’s age, size, or personality, I make sure they get a mix of exercise, engagement, and affection tailored exactly to them. We can discuss what you would like included in your pet's care.

Dog owners make the best dog sitter

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Maggie, a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to two sweet pups. I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years, starting back in high school when I became the neighborhood go-to sitter. Since then, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, plus a handful of cats and other small pets along the way. I treat my own dogs the way most people treat their kids; with patience, structure, fun, and tons of love. And I bring that exact same energy to every pet I care for. Your pet’s comfort and routine come first, and I always take time to learn what makes them feel safe, happy, and understood. As someone who often looks for sitters for my own dogs, I truly understand how important it is to find the right person; someone you trust, someone who communicates, and someone who treats your pets like family. My boyfriend and I take that responsibility seriously. While I’m the one offering pet-sitting services, he’s at home with our own doggos, making sure they’re happy, safe, and sticking to their routine. Because we know firsthand what good care looks like, we make it a priority to provide that same level of comfort, attention, and reliability to every pet we look after. Your pets deserve someone who “gets it,” and that’s exactly the kind of care we strive to provide.
