Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, gates up inside of the house, and another dog (a 4 year old Golden Retriever) as well as two adults living in the house, offering great safety and security in the environment. My dog is not currently with me, but because I have experience of living with animals, it’s quite easy for me to adapt to someone else’s space with animals! I prefer a clean, organized space where animals feel calm.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats almost my entire life! It started with asking my neighbor if I could walk her dog when I was 8 years old, and I’ve never looked back! Since, I’ve watched countless animals (sheep and cows too!) and also have spent a lot of time volunteering at local animal shelters in Los Angeles and while studying at college in Maine. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of dogs, and can provide any service (think all the way from couch potato to a long hike!) I’m committed to keeping all animals safe, healthy, and happy no matter what, and am excited to help in any way!
Reviews
Maggie is amazing with dogs of all ages and sizes! A few months after we adopted our puppy, Nori, Maggie came over to do some training while we went on our first outing without the dog. She took wonderful care of Nori and gave us ultimate peace of mind knowing that she was in such capable hands. Nori at five months had a never ending supply of energy, but three hours with Maggie and she was chill as can be - she learned how to shake and her sit/stay was far better than anything we'd previously accomplished. In a relatively short session, it was nothing short of miraculous. Whether you need caregiving or training, Maggie's got you covered. If you're looking for a trusted, experienced pet lover, give Maggie a call. You and your dog will be happy you did!
Maggie absolutely loves dogs. She always makes sure they are safe and happy and always gives them love and support. She would be a great dog caregiver as she is an animal lover, but especially loves dogs. She has a golden retriever who she trained herself. She has watched many of her neighbors dogs and is well liked bu all of them. She is very responsible as she is 18 and is very independent and takes care of her 4 year old golden retriever. Maggie is kind, responsible and hard working and loves dogs more than anything. She would be an amazing fit for this position!
Maggie’s nurturing spirit and informed approach to caring for dogs makes her the ideal person to spend time with your pup. She has spent many years training, walking, feeding, comforting, and playing with dogs of all ages, including her own 4 year-old golden retriever, Reilly. Maggie is experienced as a dog caregiver, and is also well-versed in the ideology that caring for animals allows them to provide healing and support to humans as well. She recently lent her caregiving skills and passion for advocacy to support the success of Los Angeles becoming a no-kill shelter for the many dogs and animals who have yet to find a permanent home. Your dog will be in incredibly wonderful hands with Maggie!
