I am an MCC student looking for professional pet care hours for a vet tech certification and hopefully an associates in applied sciences. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, rats, reptiles, and a rainbow of other animals.

I typically do a walk around a client’s backyard to make sure animals are securely fenced in. I will always dump and refresh any water bowls, unless told otherwise. Animals I do not know, I approach slowly with treats, and I watch their body language. Any aggressive animals will be left alone for their safety and mine, until I talk to the client about the next step. When walking, I try to avoid other dogs and make sure water is always available when needed. Lastly, I always make sure every door is locked and all animals are safe before leaving.

I had to go out of town for 20 days and was soooo anxious about leaving my pets behind for that long with anyone. I found Maggie on Rover and I swear she was a godsend. I didn’t think it was possible, but there was not a single moment where I felt concerned about my babies while I was gone. I didn’t even check my pet camera a single time because my peace of mind was at that level. Maggie sent me pictures every day, gave me updates and checked in with me about anything big or small she felt might be out of the ordinary. She is responsible, responsive, and quite literally the best pet sitter experience I have ever had. When I got home, my dogs had been so well taken care of that their usual excitement to see me after I’m gone for an extended period of time was at about 50%….. it was as if they were expecting Maggie to walk through the door but were a little disappointed that it was me 😂 If you’re looking for a sitter, you should definitely hire Maggie!!!
This was our first time using Maggie for pet sitting. We had a wedding to go to out of state, and we were gone for a week. Our current pets had never been left alone for that long before. We had interviewed several pet sitters on Rover and chose Maggie. We had her come over several times prior to our trip to get familiar with our pets and our home. When Maggie came back right before the trip our puppy got so excited to see her! Our tortoise approached her right away as well. Our cat was slower to warm up, but that did not last long. The first day we were gone she was sending us photos and videos of her playing with our cat and dog! She made such a connection and catered to our pets' personal needs. Immediately I felt so relaxed and was able to enjoy the time with my family. I would not hesitate to use Maggie again! She was great!
Maggie was wonderful to work with and took great care of our dogs. She was very communicative and offered some helpful observations about the dogs. Would absolutely recommend!!
Maggie was attentive and responsible. She always arrived on time and made sure my dogs had plenty of love and attention. She took out my trash for me, and my animals seemed to love her.

Schedule
I have classes on Mondays, and lab at least once a week for 2 hours at 6 am or 4pm. The rest of my week is completely flexible.
