Safety, trust & environment

I provide care in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar, comfortable environment. I follow your routines, supervise them closely, and make sure their space is safe. I build trust by going at your pet’s pace and giving plenty of attention, so they feel secure while you’re away.

Information Maggie C. would like to know about your pet

Please tell me about your pet’s routine, personality, and any medical needs ahead of time. Let me know about medications, allergies, anxiety triggers, or anything that makes them feel stressed. It’s also helpful to know their house rules, training cues, or any behaviors I should be aware of. The more I know, the better I can keep them safe and comfortable.

A typical day

A typical day follows your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. For dogs, that means walks, playtime, enrichment, and lots of attention. If they’re high energy, we’ll stay active. If they’re more relaxed, we’ll keep things calm. For cats, I focus on feeding, litter care, interactive play, and giving them attention (or space) depending on what they prefer. My goal is to keep them comfortable, engaged, and feeling secure while you’re away.

Pet care experience

I’m comfortable monitoring pets closely, noticing subtle changes in behavior or health, and staying calm in stressful situations. I have experience giving medications (oral and injections if needed). I’m also patient with puppies and understand they need structure and consistency. I’ve volunteered in shelter settings, so I’m used to working with shy or nervous pets and building their trust. I take pet care seriously and try to give every animal the same level of attention I would want for my own.

Maggie was so great with Nico. She communicated well and was able to assist me in such a short notice. She took my pup out for a walk and played with him She was awesome and would book her again.
