As lifelong animal lovers with a background in everything from dog grooming and horse care to livestock management, we provide a warm, calm, and capable environment for your animals, whether in your home or ours. We tailor every stay to your pet’s individual personality, needs, and routine. Here's what we offer: Structured exercise routines suited to your pet’s age, breed, and energy level from gentle strolls to long countryside walks Personalised feeding schedules to maintain consistency with your pet’s home diet and routine Medication administration, including for senior or special needs pets, handled with care and precision Toilet training and puppy care, including crate support and positive routine-building Dedicated, fenced outdoor areas to safely accommodate dogs with reactivity or those who simply prefer their own space (Norfolk only) Calm, confident handling of working breeds and high energy dogs we are long-time lurcher and border collie owners and have extensive experience with a variety of breeds Flexible care arrangements, whether you prefer us to care for your pet in your home or or our Hereford town house with secure fenced garden. With Maggi’s background as a certified dog groomer and BHS-qualified equestrian, and John’s experience managing a 55-acre smallholding with goats, sheep, pigs, and cattle, we understand animals from the inside out both practically and emotionally. We’re here to work with you, around your schedule, and adapt to your pet’s changing needs. Whether you’re heading away or just need some extra support, we will endeavor to be flexible and work to your needs.

Schedule
I work from home and my husband is a part time carer for his elderly mother so we are able to work between us to provide a flexible service to you depending on your personal requirements. This gives us the flexibility to provide daily drop ins,day care,house sitting or holiday boarding. We have two separate secure garden areas where dogs can be slowly and safely introduced to our own dogs. Or your dog can have its own separate area and garden access. We have a van and crates if your dogs need collecting. There will always be one of us present during your pets stay with us or our stay in your home.

Safety, trust & environment
We will adapt to your schedule and your pets needs. We are happy to travel for house sitting. We are able to offer care for other animals by negotiation including livestock and birds. Johns 15 years as a small holder and a goat farmer included milking up to 40 goats per day and caring for his own cattle, pigs and sheep. Maggie's experience working with horses on stud farms While we are not currently offering any riding we would be happy to turn out, change rugs and feed horses and give basic care to other larger animals that live on the property. We will leave your home as clean and tidy as you leave it. We will be as unobtrusive as we can be while we care for your beloved creatures. In our home we have various different rooms including a sunroom where your dog can find a safe and relaxing spot to curl up in and a secure garden with tall fencing for your dogs potti breaks.
Pets
A typical day
We will work with your dogs to provide them with stimulating walks which cater to your dogs energy levels. We can safely transport your dog as long as it is crate trained in our peugot boxer to the woods or to a fenced in dog park. During our time in your home there will always be someone present to meet your dogs needs. While your dog is at our house we have different rooms including a sun room where your dog can find a peaceful corner to lie down. If your dog needs bathing and grooming I can offer this service but am currently not clipping dogs.
