Dog (and cat) lover!
My name is Magdalena and I am your furry animals next best friend! I have been taking care of animals for quite some time, as I volunteered at Paws Chicago for about a year. I currently work from home and take care of my sweet Siberian Husky/Pitbull mix named Szarik. He is a super energetic boy who gets along with every dog and he would love to make some new friends! I am available most evenings and weekends, and am very flexible with hours. If you need a pet sitter for a weekend outing out of town or simply just a night out, I am your go to gal! Magdalena was great with my two young Golden Retrievers. When I arrived home they were tired and happy. I will have her return anytime.

This was our first time leaving Lulu with a boarder that wasn’t recommended by a friend, which is a little more nerve wracking! Magdalena could not have been sweeter or done a better job taking care of Lulu. I think she got even more attention there than at home, with lots of walks and her favorite activity, fetch. We got daily updates and pictures. Lulu came home happily worn out which made transition back to day to day life so much easier! We would use Magdalena again in a heart beat.
Magdalena has taken care of my cat Ella for numerous times now and I have more scheduled! She's been great doing daily home visits; and Ella, despite her princess attitude, has been receptive. Daily updates were provided as well. Highly recommended :)
Magdalena went above and beyond for us with Mazie. We couldn’t get back to Seattle during the holiday snowstorm and she kept Mazie for an extra day and a half without a problem and was very understanding of our situation. She sent numerous pictures and videos of Mazie out playing in the snow and getting lots of exercise. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Schedule
I currently have weekends off. During weekdays, I do have a few hours in the evening after my full-time job so please don't hesitate to reach out if you are unsure about my hours, I can definitely move some things around and make something work. I work from home, so I am very flexible!

Safety, trust & environment
Myself or my partner take Szarik, our furry little 1 year old husky mix, on numerous walks a day, in addition to playing fetch in a nearby field next to our home. We LOVE hiking, so if you are comfortable us taking your pup on a hike, we can do that as well. When it comes to taking care of an animal at my client's home, I will try to provide play time whenever necessary and I will go on copious walks to make sure your furry friend will be as happy as can be (: .
Pets
A typical day
I live about 5 minutes from a dog park, so I typically walk to the dog park to let the pup get their energy out and play! On the weekends, my partner and I enjoy going on longer hikes with our dog. There is a big field next to my home which we can play tons of fetch and tug-of-war, as well as have the dogs play and run around!
