My name is Magdalena or you can call me Maggie. I’ve been housesitting and doing pet drop in care now for 9 years. I also work for cat and dog rescue with 6 years of experience working with a variety of temperaments, young and geriatric animals. My love for animals started when I was young when I lived on an ostrich ranch near Goodnight, Texas with many farm animals always around. I have some animal husbandry, socializing and taming experience with the dog and cat rescue. I have fostered kittens and cats until an adoptive placement could be found. I am comfortable with small and medium size dogs and cats of all sizes. I can also create add-on fees for other pets such as fish, small furry critters! Your loving pet will be in the best of hands. Cats and Dogs are my world!

I prefer to do a meet and greet before caring for your pets and sitting your house. I want you to be confident I’m a good fit for you and your pets. This also will help me to learn more about their care, their likes and dislikes and to familiarize myself with your home and routine if I’m house sitting or even just doing drop in care. I have experience with medications for both dogs and cats. I have also administered injections for a diabetic dog. I am able to recognize when a pet needs medical care.

Horrific experience. Booked for house sitting and she was rarely at my house. Minimal communication until I asked for updates. I asked repeatedly to keep me updated, I never was. Pictures were sent to me inferring she was at my house when she wasn’t. The sitter turned the heater on and my house got up to 78 degrees in the middle of summer. All 3 of my dogs were overheated and agitated. One of my pups had poop matted to his behind. My house absolutely reeked of poop and there were urine stains on the floor. I ended the stay early as my dogs were not safe with this sitter and I reported this sitter to Rover’s safety team. Would not recommend this sitter to care for your pups.
Magdalena was great! Both girls were very happy and well taken care of.
Maggie is the best pet sitter hands down, she watched our pets for one full week. Upon our arrival back home it was evident that our babies loved her and were comfortable around her just like they are with us. Maggie communicates effectively, she picks up after herself, and the pets. She also takes care of the house as in gets your mail and/or packages. She sends you daily updates with pictures of your pets. Maggie will be watching my pets again and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that’s looking for someone to pet-sit. She comes highly qualified and most importantly she comes with a heart that has passion for animals and work ethic.

I have a flexible schedule and I do not have a full time job other than Rover. I take instructions to heart and will strive to provide the absolute best services for your family when I’m responsible for your lovely pets and/or home!
