Highlights
Pet care experience
Hardworking, Adaptable, Dog Walker
I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by animals my entire life. I have experience training therapy dogs, rescue dogs, leash training, and teaching tricks/commands. A strength of mine is I am an avid long distance runner/hiker. So if you have a high energy pet that needs those longer walks I’m happy to oblige! I believe every animal has a unique personality and set of needs. I would love to get to know your furry friend and their preferences!

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I believe pets need a clean and safe environment to thrive. They need plenty of socialization, enrichment and attention. I also value open and honest communication. I’m happy to provide pictures, updates/progress reports about how your furry friend is doing!
Ratings and reviews
Magdalen was phenomenal watching our two dogs, núðla and Potata! From the start, she was friendly, professional, and very communicative with fast responses. Above all else, when I mentioned one of our dogs' medications during our visit, she immediately asked thoughtful follow-up questions—demonstrating that she was actively listening and not just hearing what I was saying. She went above and beyond in her responsibilities and always made sure to provide photographic proof of the care she provided. She is also very flexible; I am absolutely positive that if something unplanned came up or I felt uncomfortable and needed extra check-ins, she would step up without hesitation. Magdalen has effectively demonstrated real competence in her decision-making, and I would completely trust her to handle an emergency if one ever arose under her care. We know there are tons of local sitters to choose from, and we can assure you that Magdalen is definitely a diamond in a haystack!
Magdalen did so great with Copper! This was my first time doing house sitter for my dog. She was very attentive and did everything she needed to in order to make copper comfortable. She sent updates daily. Will be using her again!
Magdalen did a great job with our 9 week old kitten! It was our kitten's first time home without us, and Magdalen helped us all feel less anxious. She sent us multiple updates and pictures, and did a great job with kitten enrichment! We will definitely book her again!
Magdalen has excellent communication skills and really cared about learning Yogi’s routine while we were away and she stayed with him! We will be booking again for sure!
She did great watching Punkee & Jazzee over the weekend. They had a lot of fun & chill time. Thank you again & would use her for my next trip 😊
Magdalen did a great job looking after our dogs. They can be a handful, but she took great care of them and gave them lots of opportunity to play. She also provided frequent updates so I knew everything was going well. Would definitely rebook with Magdalen!
