Hello, I’m Fern (Magdalen) I love animals, I find them to be the most pure little buddies. I have experience with leash pullers and dog reactive dogs. I have experience with cats with medical needs such as administering pills, ear drops, ointments and syringe feedings. I find that pets respond best when you speak to them like they’re human. I enjoy sticking to routine with pets and I ensure pups get plenty of stimulation!

I pay attention to the animal’s needs. I tend to talk to the pet as if they were a person. I find animals respond well to it and it helps establish trust. I enjoy playing with both cats and dogs. Extra enrichment when the owner is away is key to help relieve pent up anxieties. I love long walks with dogs. I am good with routines and adhere closely to the guidelines set by the owner.

Magdalen (Fern) is a fantastic pet caregiver and I highly recommend them. Fern has house sat and watched my adolescent dog, Pepper, a number of times, and I always have confidence Pepper will have a good time and will be taken care of responsibly. Pepper is an energetic dog who can be leash reactive to other dogs, and I appreciate how Fern puts the effort in to mentally and physically stimulate her, not put her in anxiety inducing situations, and stick to our training regimen. When I leave Pepper with Fern, I know she’ll be treated as family and shown the love she’s normally shown by us. Fern is a true animal lover and it really shows in the care they provide. You can expect endless cuddles, plentiful photos, and tailored care to your dog’s specific needs.
Fern was wonderful and reliable with our fur babies. I never had to worry when they watch Murphy and Daphne. The pets were given the best care. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work Mondays through Thursdays 7am-5:30pm. I work remotely Mondays and Wednesdays. I am available to house sit Fridays-Mondays. I am available for walks Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. Depending on distance, morning and midday walks are tricky unless I am house sitting.
