I believe that animals are simply the most joyful aspect of life. I have dedicated my life to domestic pets and wildlife in my personal and professional career. As a biologist by profession, I care deeply about spending time outdoors and appreciating living things. As a pet owner by nature, I know how important our furred companions are, and what a light they bring to our world. We have always had dogs in the family, and the occasional cat, which I have cared for since I was young. As an adult, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant taking care of mainly cats and dogs - young, elderly, sick, excitable, nervous, and everything in between. Learning to pay attention to animals during care made me comfortable with all manner of sizes and personalities. During this time we boarded animals so I am familiar with adapting to the needs of the individual as well as taking responsibility for their well being. I am comfortable giving medications and can provide a calm demeanour for your animal. I am happy to spend time with any age of animal and have senior experience. Recently my senior chihuahua passed at 17 years old. He was my best boy and I miss him dearly, but I can feel the absence of animals in my home life. It would be a pleasure to show your animal the love and care I have in the absence of my own. There is lots to give!
