Hi! I’m Maer. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your pet! I’ve always been an animal lover and can’t wait to meet more animals to love! I just moved to Merrickville and I am so excited to be here. I am accepting new clients for drop-ins and walks in Merrickville and the surrounding area! I make my own schedule so I can make time for your fur baby! I have over a decade of experience in pet-sitting for a total menagerie of animals. I currently have two cats and have had various cats, dogs, and leopard geckos over the years. When I’m not spending time with animals, I like to read, listen to music, and spend time in nature. (I used to go by Crew and Sasha. So if you see those names in older reviews, that’s why! It’s still me!)

Safety, trust & environment
I know how much trouble cats and dogs can get up to so I’m always keeping a wary eye out for potential hazards. I will not let your pup offleash and we generally won’t be saying hi to people or dogs on our walks. Your dog may be the biggest pushover but I’d never want to put them at risk of getting into a situation with a dog whose temperament we don’t know. Any situation can change in a flash. If your furbaby somehow acquires the smallest of scratches in my care, I will let you know!

Maer started walking my dog when she was a pup two and a half years ago. Over the years, she has consistently provided excellent service, great recommendations on training and useful observations on my dog's behaviour and interests. She is patient and loving, which has built the dog's confidence and trust. Maer is incredibly reliable, flexible to changes in schedules and trustworthy. I would strongly recommend her. She's amazing.
Very energetic about visiting the dogs. Knew the breeds and asked very good questions about their needs. Would be very happy to book them again!
Love working with Crew! I give her feedback on what the dog is learning at training school so our commands are consistent. Great teamwork!
Crew leaves a great note about how the walk went and takes pictures along the walk. She always makes sure the dog gets water afterwards
Crew took incredible care of my 5 month old puppy Lily! They were incredibly patient and gentle with her, and did an amazing job at keeping in touch with me, checking in and providing updates and pictures. I really appreciated how attentive and calm they were, and had total peace of mind knowing that Lily was in such great care with Crew! Thanks again :)
Crew is my trusted go-to pet sitter for few months now. My dog has separation anxiety and can be demanding at times and Crew knows how to distract him, keeping him busy with play, training and even going on walks. My dog loves Crew and gets excited every time they are over. Crew has a great attitude, is respectful, understanding, empathetic and attentive to my dog. I completely trust Crew with both my dog and my home.

Schedule
I work part-time and make my own schedule so I have day-time, evenings, and weekends available. I am available between 9 am and 9 pm. I love to get out for a daily walk anyway and would love to keep your dog company on theirs!
