I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs—whether that means extra playtime, a slower-paced walk, or just quiet company. I’ve watched my family’s dogs for years, both for day check-ins and longer stays, and I also used to volunteer at a dog shelter on weekends, so I’m experienced with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I have really enjoyed training and playing with my family dogs throughout the years. Pet parents can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring.

When I’m caring for pets, my main goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and rest—so everything feels familiar and stress-free for them. I always take time to get to know each dog’s personality and preferences. I want them to trust me, so I am happy to be patient as they get to know me. I also make sure to keep things tidy and send photo updates so owners know how their pet is doing. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a full day of house sitting, I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

Maeli is always amazing with Jai Alai and we appreciate her willingness to stay in our home and keep her in her familiar surroundings. We’re so grateful that she’s been able to take care of our pup!

Maeli was able to help us on short notice, which we really appreciated. She even came ahead of time to learn how to take care of our guinea pigs, which meant a lot to us. Since this was our first time leaving our pets with someone else, having someone reliable and trustworthy was super important, and she was great. Everything went smoothly, and I’d definitely reach out to her again if we need help in the future. 🐹🐹
Maeli has been amazing with my dogs. I have an elderly, yet crafty, dog and a chihuahua (enough said) which she has watched for a couple of nights when I was traveling for work, and also occasionally walks them for me. Maeli has been great at addressing their needs and limitations and is loving and patient with them. She has always been responsive, prompt and great with communication. I really appreciated her pictures and updates on how my dogs were doing when I was away.
Maeli was very accommodating with last minute changes and did a great job caring for my pup. She sent lots of pics of which kept my mind at ease while away.

Schedule
Monday & Friday: Flexible (work from home) Tuesday & Wednesday: After 6 p.m. Weekends: Flexible all day I will try to accommodate each pet parent’s schedule whenever possible and can often adjust as needed for regular walks or last-minute care.
