My husband and I have both grown up with animals, from 7 lb Yorkies to 100 lb German Shepherds. My first dog was a Maltese named Magnolia, a sweet 10 year old rescue that I patiently worked with until her past years of abuse faded away. Jake grew up in a family of cats, dogs, and horses, so he is well accustomed to the many varying needs of animals. We frequently dog sit for our friends, and we both miss having a pet. So until it makes sense for us to get one, we'd love to watch yours in the meantime!

Maelee & Jacob were so great for my dog ace! He got injured the week before he was being watched by them and needed extra love and attention for a paw wound, and they were able to take care of him so well. Ace seemed happy and comfortable and loved being there. I got a lot of pictures everyday which was sweet. 10/10 would recommend them and will be using them again!!!

Schedule
I currently work part time as a trainer and full time as a dietitian remotely. This allows me time to watch your babies between clients when I’m working from home. My husband also works remotely on Mondays and Fridays, so someone is home much of the time!

Safety, trust & environment
Our apartment is very clean and dog friendly! We are both neat-freaks, so you can trust that your pets won't get into anything on our watch. We also both like to go on walks or runs whenever possible, and we'd be happy to take your babies with us/stop to look in on them on our way.
A typical day
We love being outdoors whenever possible, so at the very least we'll take your pups to Central Park. Our favorite lawn is dog friendly, so with your permission, we'd love to take them there. I also would love puppy company on my runs!
