I am currently working full time at a veterinary hospital but I have 3 days off per week for all day service and can make home stops in the AM before work and PM after work.

Unfortunately at this time I do not offer services in my own home - I have two dogs and two cats of my own, and one of my dogs is elderly and extremely grouchy so bringing in outside pets is not an option for our household. I am no longer offering overnights unless it’s a single overnight. My typical client hires me to stop in 2-3 times daily to feed, walk, medicate, and play with their pets! I also offer dog walking services and mobile nail trimming/basic grooming!

I’d love to hear about your pets’ personality! What they like to snack on, favorite hiding places, special toys, fun quirks! I also appreciate when clients are open and honest about any behaviors I should watch out for :)
A typical day
I believe that mental and physical stimulation for your pets is extremely important! I love taking dogs on walks and don’t mind sitting at home and playing with toys too. I particularly love chilling on the sofa with the kitties, soaking up all the snuggles!

Pet care experience
I work as a veterinary technician and have 10+ years of pet sitting under my belt. I also have a private mobile nail trimming business that I run part time on the side, I have a pretty large client base with many references from that. I am comfortable working with pets of all shapes and sizes, and don’t have a problem working with pets that may have behavioral concerns. I can administer medications and even care for pets with serious medical needs.

Mae is an amazing pet sitter! I would have a hard time trusting anyone else with the care of our dog Max and our flock of chickens if she wasn’t available. She is very kind and gentle with our pets, and treats them like they are her own whenever she is caring for them. It brings us a lot of comfort that she is a veterinary technician and very aware of their health too, so if anything were to happen she’d know just how to respond. Definitely recommended Mae for all of your pet care needs!
