The most important thing for me is understanding your dog’s routine and personality so I can care for them the way you do. I always appreciate clear instructions about feeding, walks, medication, quirks, and anything that helps your pup feel comfortable and understood. Every dog is different, some are super easygoing and others need a little extra patience, structure, or reassurance. I’m very used to adjusting to those needs and making sure they feel safe and settled. My goal is simple-keep things consistent for your dog so they feel at home, even when you’re not there.
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your pup happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine. We usually start with a morning walk, breakfast, and some quality time to get the day going on a calm note. From there, I check in throughout the day for potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention—whether that’s a game of fetch, a sniff-filled stroll, or just hanging out together. I adjust to each dog’s energy level, so high-energy pups get plenty of activity and mellow dogs get lots of relaxed companionship. In the evening, I wrap things up with a final walk, dinner, and some wind-down time so your dog feels settled and cared for before bed. My goal is always a consistent, loving routine that keeps them feeling safe and happy while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I have hands-on experience caring for dogs with very different needs and personalities, especially through my own dogs, Lu and Kaia. My senior dog Lu had a very particular personality and needed gentle, patient care and consistent routines to stay comfortable and happy. Caring for her taught me how important it is to truly understand each dog as an individual. I’ve also cared for Kaia after surgery, helping her through recovery with medication schedules, limited activity, and lots of supervision and encouragement. It was really rewarding seeing her regain her energy and get back to her playful, spunky self. My sweet dog Lu recently passed at 16, and she inspired the way I care for animals today. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and treat every pup like my own. I’m especially comfortable with senior care, recovery needs, and dogs who need a little extra patience and attention.

Madyson takes great care of Sadie when we are at work! She does check ins during the day, brings her potty and walks her. Sadie gets so excited to see her and I know she is in great hands when Madyson comes over! She sends lots of pictures and updates to show us what Sadie is up to. Would highly recommend her for your dog sitting/walking needs.
