(They/them) I’m a huge animal lover and pro cuddler. I have lived around dogs for pretty much my whole life. I got my own dog when I was 10 and took care of him for many years. I took care of my most recent dog (shelter adopted!) for the past four years. I have taken dog training classes as well. I also have experience taking care of cats and currently care for my own cat. I will make sure to give lots of love and care to your fur babies! I also am a great pet photographer and will take many great photos of your pets during my stay that you can use as your phone background (literally have had a client do this before!). Each dog and cat is different so I don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach to sitting or walking. So, my approach is to make sure I have all the information possible on how your unique pet needs to be cared for. When I get a request, my first goal is to get to know your dog/cat and their personality and needs. I get to know what kind of attention they want (and don’t want), how they cope with stress, and how I can make them the most happy, comfortable, and safe with the resources at hand. Then, I do my best to care for them with that information. I want to care for them in exactly the same way you would or even better.

This was our very first time using Rover and we couldn’t have been happier! Mads was such a conscientious and communicative sitter with Bernie (our sweet but anxious 6yr old mini Bernedoodle) while we were gone for a week! They sent photos and updates every day and left our home as clean as they found it when we were back. Another thing we loved about Mads was their recommendation to have not only a meet and greet with us beforehand, but also schedule a walk with Bernie solo so they could both get comfy with each other before we left. Can’t recommend Mads enough and we’ll definitely be using them again!!
We were gone for a pretty long international trip and Mads took wonderful care of both Betty and our home! Daily communication put us at ease (despite the time difference!). We highly recommend Mads!!!
Mads was the absolute best. Their communication was top notch, our dog was in love from the minute they came over for a meet and greet, we felt in good hands from the very beginning. There was even a house issue while we were traveling (we have a dumb old house) and it was handled so well there was never a minute of stress. Could not recommend more highly! Thanks Mads!
Mads did a great job taking care of our German Shepherd! They stayed with him for a weekend while we went out of town. It was our first time hiring a pet sitter to stay at our house so we were a little bit nervous but Mads did a meet and greet with us which made us feel at ease and Courage loved them right away. Courage also has dietary requirements and needs meds with meals and Mads did a great job with everything and sent us pictures/little updates every day. We will definitely be booking them again next time we need to go out of town!
Mads is always so great with my dog Loki!! Very responsive and sends so many pictures. Loki is always so happy when I come back home!

Schedule
I have a regular 9-5 but I mostly work remotely so I tend to have a good amount of availability during the week and on the weekends. I can also stay overnight for house sitting if needed. Generally, I do sometimes have commitments that might leave me out of the house for 4-6 hours in a day so if your pet needs constant 24/7 care, I may not be the best fit.
