Availability
I have a regular 9-5 but I mostly work remotely so I tend to have a good amount of availability during the week and on the weekends. I can also stay overnight for house sitting if needed. Generally, I do sometimes have commitments that might leave me out of the house for 4-6 hours in a day so if your pet needs constant 24/7 care, I may not be the best fit.

Each dog and cat is different so I don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach to sitting or walking. So, my approach is to make sure I have all the information possible on how your unique pet needs to be cared for. When I get a request, my first goal is to get to know your dog/cat and their personality and needs. I get to know what kind of attention they want (and don’t want), how they cope with stress, and how I can make them the most happy, comfortable, and safe with the resources at hand. Then, I do my best to care for them with that information. I want to care for them in exactly the same way you would or even better.

Let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs and what their behavior is like with people and other animals. For dogs, I especially want to know what they’re like on walks and when around other dogs. I want to make sure your pets are both safe and have a good time.
A typical day
Depends on what your doggo loves! We could sit on the couch and cuddle. We could also go on walks through nearby neighborhoods and parks. And I’m always down to play fetch or tug-o-war! As for cats, I am always ready to cuddle or pull out the laser/feather toy for some playtime!

Pet care experience
(They/them) I’m a huge animal lover and pro cuddler. I have lived around dogs for pretty much my whole life. I got my own dog when I was 10 and took care of him for many years. I took care of my most recent dog (shelter adopted!) for the past four years. I have taken dog training classes as well. I also have experience taking care of cats and currently care for my own cat. I will make sure to give lots of love and care to your fur babies! I also am a great pet photographer and will take many great photos of your pets during my stay that you can use as your phone background (literally have had a client do this before!). Mads was the absolute best. Their communication was top notch, our dog was in love from the minute they came over for a meet and greet, we felt in good hands from the very beginning. There was even a house issue while we were traveling (we have a dumb old house) and it was handled so well there was never a minute of stress. Could not recommend more highly! Thanks Mads!
Mads did a great job taking care of our German Shepherd! They stayed with him for a weekend while we went out of town. It was our first time hiring a pet sitter to stay at our house so we were a little bit nervous but Mads did a meet and greet with us which made us feel at ease and Courage loved them right away. Courage also has dietary requirements and needs meds with meals and Mads did a great job with everything and sent us pictures/little updates every day. We will definitely be booking them again next time we need to go out of town!
