Currently I am working at a veterinary clinic on Saturdays and sometimes throughout the week when needed. When I am not at the clinic I am at home with my toddler! I am able to accommodate pet care into my schedule with the flexibility of being able to come when I am not having to go into the clinic. If I do have to work, I am able to come before or after a shift to care for pets.

I like to keep pet care as consistent as possible to a normal daily routine for pets so they don’t get too stressed while their owners are away. I am able to crate pets appropriately, ensure they go to the bathroom outside safely, are taken on walks with care, cleaning up any mess that they make, administering medications at allotted times, and most importantly loving them as much as I am able to.

I would like to meet the pet before sitting just so they can get to know me. I don’t want there first time meeting me to be the first time I am sitting, because I want to build a relationship with them.
A typical day
Walks will be either in your neighborhood where you live or at your pets favorite walking areas. If you want, I can also take them to parks, trails, or even just on a nice car ride!

Pet care experience
I am currently employed at a veterinary hospital. At my job, I have helped assist the veterinarians during appointments, administer vaccinations, am able to identify medications, and take care of all the fur babies to the highest expectations! Currently I am Fear Free certified at my job which helps me to navigate pets who may be fearful or anxious and give them the most stress free time when caring for them. I also am able to give baths and nail trims! I love looking after dogs and/or cats because animals are my passion! I am very caring and patient with animals, so any type of dog or pet will be no worries for me. I have also grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and I currently have two cats and a dog myself! At one point I had 5 dogs all in one house! The one thing I love about dogs is they are the most pure and loving animals there are. I am flexible during days and weekends. My job schedule varies, but I am able to accommodate both my work schedule and Rover! I ensure the pets safety as my first priority. I make sure they are happy and healthy during the stays/visits. I make sure to go over special care needs with owners before the stay such as special procedures for taking them outside, for walks, or any other activities.

I could tell Madisyn is a huge animal lover when she visited prior to caring for my cats. While I was away she gave my diabetic cat his insulin shots twice a day and ensured both were fed and they had plenty of water in their fountain. Thank you Madisyn!
