I currently work full-time, but have dedicated time off built into my schedule. I work 12hr. shift rotations 3-4 times a week. I received 3-4 day breaks each week as well and would be more than happy to spend that time caring for your beloved pets.

I travel with a handheld broom and dustpan, lint roller, and treats at all times. I remain very cognizant of the pet's emotional state and will engage in pets and activities on their terms. Additionally, treats will only be given so long as they align with the pet's dietary needs and so long as I've received express permission from the owner to do so. I possess the strength needed to change out entire litter boxes when needed as well.

Please let me know if your pet has any allergies and/or dietary needs that I should pay close attention to when conducting my visits. If you've assessed that your pet is not in the mood to be touched/engaged with thoroughly, please let me know ahead of time. I will make sure to not get in their way. Conversely, if your pet is big on social interaction and they enjoy playing with toys, please let me know which one is their favorite so we can get all the more playtime in!
A typical day
Laser pointers are a staple when it comes to playing with cats! I keep an extra one in my travel kit, so I will always have that on reserve. I enjoy being very hands on and showering pets with all of the cuddles and belly scratches they can handle. If your pet isn't feeling up to much contact, I would be more than happy to engage with them using some of their favorite toys, from a distance if needed. Just make sure to point them out to me, and I'll make it happen!

Cat care experience
I was a devoted cat owner for 11 years, throughout my most formative years. Having begun my journey as a pet owner as a freshman in high school, I quickly developed and refined my strategy towards care. Persistent engagement, a diverse diet, and unconditional compassion served as key pillars during my time as a cat owner. Over the course of those 11 years, I cared for my cat across 4 different states, 2 different regions of the country, and in ever changing climates. I have experience with driving a pet cross country as well.

Madison got along very well with our two cats when we were out for the weekend! They followed all of our instructions to the letter and did extra work to make sure our cats were happy and our home was just the way we left it. She was attentive to the specific emotional needs of each cat. I would highly recommend them for pet sitting.
