Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I am currently home for the summer and have open availability. I am about to be a senior at Michigan State University, but while I am home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. Whether it's morning walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or check-ins throughout the day, I am able to be reliable and accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them is something I genuinely look forward to.

When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so their pets feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and companionship. I also make sure the home stays clean and tidy by cleaning up after the pets and keeping their living areas organized. I understand that every pet has different needs, so I carefully follow any specific instructions provided by the owner and provide updates when requested. My goal is to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

A typical day
While I am with your dog(s) I can take them on long walks where we can go past parks and they can explore. Depending on the dog we can play fetch and get all those zoomies out.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for animals. I have grown up with 2–3 dogs at a time throughout my life, as well as cats, so I am very comfortable with the daily responsibilities that come with pet care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and providing companionship. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet-sat for my neighbors' animals on numerous occasions, giving me experience with different personalities and routines. While I am not a professional trainer, I have taught my own dogs basic commands and good habits. I understand the importance of being patient, attentive, and dependable, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.
