Hi, I’m Madison! 🐾 I have 6 years of overall animal-care experience, including 1 year of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant. I’m currently pursuing my degree in Veterinary Technology with the goal of becoming a veterinary technician/nurse. Through my veterinary experience and education, I’ve developed hands-on skills in animal handling, behavior observation, basic first aid, and recognizing changes in an animal’s health or behavior. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and making sure every pet receives safe, attentive, and individualized care. I’m also a huge photo person! 📸 I love keeping pet parents updated throughout my visits with plenty of pictures and updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing how your kitty is doing while you’re away. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. Whether your cat is playful, cuddly, shy, or prefers to keep their distance, I’ll respect their comfort level while making sure they receive the care and attention they need. 🐱💕

Because I’m providing drop-in visits in your home, my priority is keeping your kitty safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away. 🐱 Before your first visit, I prefer to do a meet & greet whenever possible so we can go over your cat’s routine, personality, and everything you’d like me to take care of. I also love when owners leave written instructions! Sticky notes are honestly one of my favorite things — especially for things like feeding amounts, medications, litter-box preferences, favorite toys, or anything specific you don’t want me to forget. To make visits easier and avoid unnecessary changes to your cat’s environment, I recommend leaving their supplies together in one easy-to-find area. Food, bowls, treats, litter supplies, brushes, medications, and anything else I’ll need can all be kept together so I can quickly find everything and spend more time actually caring for your kitty. Every cat has different needs, so I’m happy to follow whatever routine you establish. Want the litter box cleaned during every visit? Extra playtime? Brushing? Lots of cuddles? Prefer your cat to have some space? Just let me know! I can also provide extra care such as light vacuuming around the litter area when requested. I’m also very careful about home access and security. Whether you provide a key, door code, or another method of entry, I’ll make sure your home is secured when I leave and that your cat stays safely inside. I’m especially mindful of doors and exits because I know how quickly a curious cat can make a break for it! 😂 I’ve also provided drop-in care for a variety of animals, including fish, reptiles, and other small pets — even a shark! 🦈 So while every animal has their own needs, I’m very comfortable following detailed care instructions and caring for pets in their own home. Your home is your pet’s safe space, and I’ll treat it — and your kitty — with the same care and respect I would want for my own pets. 🐾💕

Madison was such a great caretaker for our puppy. She kept us up to date with pictures and information on how Jasper was the entire time. We will be using her again in the future.

Leo is clearly attached to his new sitter Madison. Our baby spent the rest of the entire day randomly going to the door as if he was looking for her. We have found our baby a new sitter for our duration of our time in Jacksonville! A God send! Thank you Madison!!

I've had Madison walk all 3 of my dogs . She handles each one of then really well. I don't have enough time and power to walk all my dogs and keep them under control, but Madison does!

• I am online learning, so I’m home almost every day “ besides occasional vacations” and I am available whenever you need me, I have plenty of time to play/snuggle with your baby!
- CatsMadison can host up to 1 drop-in per day
- The more I know about your kitty ahead of time, the better I can care for them! Please let me know about their normal routine, personality, medical needs, and anything unexpected I might encounter. 😂🐱 Medications: Is your cat taking any medications? I’m comfortable administering many types of medications, including pills and other treatments, but please let me know exactly what they need and how they normally receive it. If your cat needs an injection, please let me know how they typically tolerate it and whether they normally require another person for restraint. I want to make sure the medication can be given safely for both your cat and me. Personality & behavior: Is your cat friendly, shy, nervous, spicy, or convinced that strangers are their sworn enemy? 😂 Let me know! If they hide, bite, scratch, swat, or need extra time to warm up to people, I’d much rather know beforehand so I can approach them appropriately. Escape artists: Does your cat try to bolt through the door the second it opens? Do they need to be kept in another room while I enter or leave? Please tell me! I’ll always be careful around doors, but knowing your cat’s habits ahead of time helps me be prepared. Safety quirks: Does your cat climb on top of the refrigerator? Knock things over? Try to eat literally anything they can find? Chew on cords? Open cabinets? Get into places they shouldn’t? Please tell me about their little quirks so I know what to watch for. 😂 Anything else: If there is something about your cat that you think I might need to know, even if it seems silly or unusual, please tell me! I would much rather have too much information than be surprised during a visit. Your cat doesn’t have to be perfectly behaved for me to care for them — I just need to know what I’m walking into so I can keep everyone safe and make their visits as comfortable as possible. 🐾
