Pet care experience

Love animals!

I spent my time in college fostering dogs coming from stressed shelter environments, teaching me how to build their confidence and reduce reactivity. I got the chance to work with dogs of all sizes - from 10 lbs to 100 lbs. Also, I've worked on a farm as an Operations Manager for the past year, taking care of animals ranging from chickens, goats, cows, to livestock guardian dogs. I assisted with simple procedures like first aid, vaccines, and nail trimming. Working with livestock guardian dogs was good experience in learning how to interact with dogs that receive little human interaction. I socialized and taught basic commands to Akbash and Great Pyrenees that were 2-4 years old. Additionally, I've done plenty of dogsitting and catsitting for friends and family. This includes house visits and boarding. These dogs ranged from mini doodles to German Shepherds - dogs of all ages, energy levels, and reactivity. I absolutely love working with all kinds of animals, and definitely have a soft spot for big dogs!

Madison was fantastic with our two cats and did a wonderful job keeping our plants watered and happy while we were away! She sent great updates with photos, which put our minds at ease. The cats warmed up to her quickly and seemed very comfortable. Our plants looked just as healthy when we returned. Highly recommend Madison — reliable, caring, and communicative. 5/5 stars!

Dog Walking • Feb 14, 2026

Madison walked our Shiba Inu, Kona, for five days in a row while my husband was away on a business trip and the kids were home for the holidays. So it was honestly such a big help. Already at the meet and greet, I had a really good feeling. And more importantly, Kona did too. He was super comfortable with Madison from the start. After every walk, he came back happy and totally content, which made me feel so relieved. Madison is kind, reliable, and just very easy to communicate with. By the end of the week, even my kids were excited to say hi to her when she arrived. We’re really grateful we found her and I would absolutely book her again anytime we need help with Kona. Highly recommend ❤️

Madi has cared for my two cats multiple times, without issue or ever raising concern. She is trustworthy, communicative, responsible, patient, attentive, caring, and simply adores all animals. From overnight care to simple daily dog walks, Madi represents the ideal pet sitter.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I currently have a couple free months between jobs so my schedule is flexible for pet care! I’m available weekdays and weekends, primarily for drop in visits and housesitting.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I currently have one cat who has part time access outdoors and stays within our fenced yard. I’ve worked with low maintenance livestock guardian dogs and high energy puppies, so I’m open to the level of care you need for your pet.
