Availability

I am a full time student at the University of Kentucky. For dogs, I usually try to do 4-5 stops a day for potty breaks. That being in the morning, lunch time, evening, and night. This is how my clinic runs feedings and potty breaks as well.

Safety, trust & environment

I have experience with traditional household pets such as dogs and cats. As well as exotics such as rabbits, scaley and feathered friends. At my house I have 5 dogs, a cat, a bearded dragon, a rabbit, and several backyard chickens. Not to mention the pets from my clinic I have brought home to take care of around the clock!

Information Madison S. would like to know about your pet

Important things to know ahead of time would be how often an animal is fed, what medications they may receive, how often they go potty...and any other normal behaviors I should be aware of. As well as abnormal behaviors or "histories" of certain incidences.

A typical day

A typical day would include several potty breaks first thing in the morning, followed by feedings and playtime. This could be a walk, fetch with a ball, or enrichment exercises. Some of my favorite being frozen kong toys filled with peanut butter, pumpkin, treats...etc. or working to retrieve treats from within a knotted towel.

Pet care experience

I have grown up with animals all 19 years of my life. In September of 2021, I started working at a vet clinic as an assistant. I have learned a lot and feel confident in caring for my own and other’s pets.

Madison did a lovely job at our house for the week! Our pets didn’t even seem to notice we were gone, and she went above and beyond with taking care of our home! We’re so grateful to have found someone who takes such good care of our anxious dog and shy cats!
