Hi! I’m an experienced dog owner and lifelong dog lover who has raised and trained my own 4-year-old chocolate lab from puppyhood. I provide a safe, structured, and loving home where your dog will be treated like family. I’m a teacher and am home full-time during the summer, so your pup will get plenty of attention, including daily walks, playtime, and enrichment. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and can administer oral medications if needed. Dogs staying with me must be friendly, as they’ll be spending time with my well-socialized lab who loves having a buddy around. Dogs are welcome on furniture to feel at home (just not on beds). Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, caring for them just like I do my own!

I could not think of anyone I would trust more with my dogs than Madison. I've had the pleasure of watching her care for and train many over the years. Her gentle but firm manner brings out their best behavior because the know they can trust her and therefore they want to please her. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that she will be a great asset to your company allowing her to do something she is so extremely passionate about.
Madison has watched my energetic Labrador multiple times! She is calm and carrying and absolutely loves dogs. She is responsible and clearly communicates and keeps me updated on my dog while I am away. She also sends pictures! Baker(my dog) loves each time Madison comes to visit! I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am home during the summers, as I teach during the school year! This allows my schedule to be flexible and provide your pet with frequent bathroom breaks, outside time, walks, and play time!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will be welcomed into my home and treated like a family pet during their stay! Pets are allowed on furniture, but I request that they not sleep on the bed. I have beds that I can provide for them as an alternative sleeping area. My yard is fenced in for ease of bathroom breaks and time spent outside, but will likely be accompanied by me as I will likely be home during the majority of your pets stay. If your pet tends to get curious when left alone, I ask that you provide a crate for them to be put in when I have to run out of the house during your pets stay. I am pretty flexible and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs during their stay!
