I have lived my whole life with pets, primarily dogs and cats. I have extensive experience dog- and house-sitting for neighbors and friends. I also spent several months working as a handler at a doggy daycare in Portland before moving for school. I absolutely love dogs and cannot wait to get one of my own, but until then I would love to take care of your furbaby!

I am happy to follow all rules of the house and will try to keep your pet(s)’ routine as close to normal as possible. I can be up as early as needed to take them outside to potty and am always highly attentive to their needs, whether that means play time, rest time, bathroom breaks, or getting outside for some exercise.

Madison is super communicative and sends lots of pics of my kitty playing and relaxing, which is incredibly appreciated! She even let me know she had to put some plastic away because my little gremlin kept trying to eat it for some reason. I always feel reassured knowing Madison is checking in on my cat while I'm away. Madison has been looking after Friday every time I’ve had to leave for almost a year now, and this time she really came through for me when I had to leave urgently and asked if she could drop in on her with next to no notice. Friday has typically been very shy, and she’s started coming out from her hiding places to hang out with Madison. I can’t recommend her enough.

Schedule
I am doing pet care full-time at the moment, so I am widely available for housesitting, walks, and drop-in visits. When housesitting I typically do not need to be out for longer than 3-4 hours for scheduled walks.
