Availability
I work from home, so your dog has company throughout the day rather than long stretches alone. We'll head out for a walk once a day, and beyond that they're free to come and go into the fenced yard as often as they want. I'm happy to work around your dog's existing feeding and potty schedule so their routine stays consistent.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is large and fully fenced, so there's real room to run without any worry about escapes. Dogs stay with me in the main living space rather than shut away in a separate room, and I'm home to supervise. Jobi, my young black Lab, is friendly with visiting dogs, and I have a young child at home, so I'm looking for dogs who are comfortable with other dogs and gentle around kids. I'll follow whatever routine and instructions you send along, including any medications, and I'll keep you updated with photos throughout the stay.

Information Madison M. would like to know about your pet
Ahead of a stay, it helps to know: feeding schedule and portion sizes, medications and timing, their usual potty routine, how they are with other dogs and with children, leash manners, any allergies or health conditions, what tends to make them anxious and what helps, and their favorite games or toys. It is also helpful to have your vet's contact information and an emergency contact. If your dog has habits worth flagging, such as, separation anxiety, resource guarding, a talent for opening gates, any information that helps me keep them comfortable and safe!
A typical day
I try to match the day to your dog. High-energy dogs get plenty of fetch, tug, and running room in the fenced yard, plus a good long walk in the afternoon. Mellower dogs get the same options at a slower pace, with more napping and less sprinting. Either way, the day looks something like this: breakfast and yard time in the morning, company near my desk while I work, an afternoon walk around the neighborhood, play breaks whenever they're wanted, dinner, and a calm evening. I'll ask about your dog's favorite games and toys beforehand so we can work those in.

Pet care experience
I sat regularly through my college years, so this isn't new to me, I'm just picking Rover back up now that my child is older, and I have the house and yard for it! Since then I've raised Jobi, my black Lab, from puppyhood, I'm well practiced in crate routines, house-training accidents, chewing phases, and the general chaos of a young dog who has more energy than sense. What sets me apart is mostly availability. I work from home, so your dog isn't waiting out a nine-hour day alone. The yard is large and fully fenced, we walk daily, and dogs stay with me in the main living space instead of being shut away. I'll follow your instructions exactly, feeding schedule, medications, commands your dog already knows, the crate if that's what they're used to. And I'll send photos throughout, so you always know how they're settling in!
Reviews

Madison did a great job with my pup! Being his first time staying away from home and under 6 months, he had a bit of anxiety and initial issues in her house with peeing on the floor, sleeping in his crate, etc. which I had not expected nor warned Madison about. However, she was super flexible and understanding about it all and even went out of her way to buy pee pads and treats to help him get adjusted. She gave me lots of updates and photos everyday. She overall did an excellent job and I would recommend Madison to anyone looking for a dog sitter!
Did a great job with the drop in visit and walk in the same day! Sent pictures and kept me informed on the visit, which was helpful. Will utilize her services again.
Madison is awesome! I can always depend on her to take care of my dogs responsibly. She has watched my Pug and Golden Retriever for several years, I would recommend her for any loved pet.
