About Madison M.

Safety, trust & environment

I have learned to read dog/cat body language well to help me know how I should handle a pet and what boundaries to keep with the pet. I would respect any reactions from the pets and any rules set by the owners for the pets safety and my own. For drop-in visits, I am well trained in administering medication whether it’s oral or injectable.

Information Madison M. would like to know about your pet

The most important things I would want to know about your pet is if they are dog-reactive; timid to new people; have or had any injuries, illnesses, joint disorders, and other diagnoses, and their favorite thing! This will help me be able to cater to their needs!

A typical day

I love to end walks with a fun activity to finish off like fetch or tug of war! I want every pet to be able to have an assortment of new smells along their walk as well and visit dog parks when appropriate!

Pet care experience

I own 2 golden doodles who are 9yo and grew up walking, pet sitting, and loving the other pets in my neighborhood. I work as an assistant veterinary technician at Kingsview Animal Hospital where I handle and learn to treat companion animals. Now, I am continuing my learning through my studies of animal science at UMass Amherst! I will be especially good with puppies as I’ve learned behaviors and the socialization period which is critical! I also handle all elderly dogs with care as my own require special assistance.
