I don’t plan on doing boarding in my home just yet, as I am still introducing a new kitten to my home. But in the future I hope to be able to as I have a bedroom I can separate my pets from yours in.
Information Madison H. would like to know about your pet
I love to get to know your dog and any of their special needs! I’m open to learning medications they may need or any other special care I may need to provide! I have given oral medications, but willing to learn injections if your pet is on insulin. I’m a people nurse, but I think some of those skills can translate to the care of animals. If they have any behavior or reactivity issues, that doesn’t deter me from walking your dog and I would love to know so I can be aware on our walks, and avoid high traffic or crowded streets.
A typical day
A typical day totally depends on your dogs needs! I’m happy to cater each visit to your individual dog. I love to snuggle and provide lots of pets if your dog is a lap dog/ couch potato. I also love to get their exercise in and go for long walks or sniff walks, and lots of play time. I want you and your dog to build a good foundation of trust with me first and foremost!

Pet care experience
I have cared for my own cats for 6 years. I have cared for and walked my previous roommates dog, as well as other friends’ dogs. I have experience with dogs ranging from puppy to senior, and varying behavior levels. I am excited to get to know your dog, and cater each walk to their needs. Whether your dog needs a quick lap around the block, or an hour in the park, I’m ready! I am respectful of your home, and promise to always leave it how I found it. I love to snuggle with your dog, and play and provide enrichment! Your dog’s safety is my number one priority. I also spend my free time volunteering with Paws Chicago at their adoption center, caring for both cats and dogs there!

Reviews

ChynaRose can get very anxious and nervous when strangers are around but when we came home she was soundly sleeping and not nervous at all! I attribute this to Madison H. Calmly greeting ChynaRose, tending to her needs and not seeking her out as per my request. Thank you Madison H.

Madison did a great job watching my cats! Would recommend!!

Madison was great with Halle! She was also great with providing pictures of Halle throughout their walk - Halle had a blast and I had peace of mind knowing she was in good hands☺️
Madison is the BEST!! She is a true animal lover and the first person I would trust with my pup. I admittedly tend to be a helicopter dog mom but it’s so nice not to worry about him when Madison is watching him. He is literally insane and requires a ton of attention but Madison takes amazing care of him. She’s incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and my pup adores her!!
