Pet care experience

Your pet’s new best pals. 💕🦴🐾

I grew up around animals, working on my grandparents’ ranch and helping to care for horses, cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. I’ve always found working with animals to come quite naturally for me. I first began pet sitting during high school, and in recent years I’ve fostered for local rescue organizations, taking care of and helping to socialize dogs who are up for adoption. My husband and I adopted our own rescue, Leroy, in February 2020 and are so grateful we did! I work from home during the week, and enjoy breaking up my workday with nature walks. Leroy and I love spending time with other dogs, and especially enjoy taking them with us to explore our beautiful neighborhood! I tend to talk often to Leroy and the dogs I’m caring for, and treat them more like little humans. The dogs I grew up with were treated like members of the family, and I’ll treat your dog with the same kindness and respect.

Madison was really wonderful! We loved that Luna had a playmate and plenty of space to play. Madison was very kind. She picked up Luna and when we came to pick her up, she seemed very happy.

I met Madison in November 2016, when she was fostering a sweet homeless dog, named Brodie. I heard about this sweet natured pup from my daughter who urged me to met him. My husband and I fell in love with Brodie immediately at first sight. I knew instantly that Madison was giving Brodie the most love and the best care that he needed at this very vulnerable time in his life. She and Brodie had an extremely close bond. During the dog adoption process, Madison showed the utmost concern about Brodie's future well being. She shared at length details about Brodie, so that his transition to our home would be smooth. I have no doubt that Madison would be responsible and loving dog caregiver!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Madison and her care for our dog Tucker! He loves when she comes to walk, play and spend time with him! She has great attention to detail with his schedule, routine and dietary needs. Tucker's smile says it all the moment she walks in the door! Not having to stress about finding him a place to stay has been a saving grace! If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like family with love and care, Madison is a great fit! Five stars and beyond!

Schedule

Since I work from home, my schedule is flexible and adaptable depending on the needs of the animal I’m caring for. We have a big, grassy, fully-fenced yard and a doggy door for pups to enjoy indoor/outdoor access as they please. As an example of my routine for my own dog (and when I have furry guests!), I usually take Leroy for a morning walk, a lunchtime walk, and a hike or beach walk in the afternoon/early evening, plus a short potty walk after dinner.

Safety, trust & environment

I prefer to visit for a meet-and-greet before scheduling any bookings, so that I can get to know you and your pet. I only board or provide doggy day care for dogs who get along well with other dogs, as they will be spending their time with my dog Leroy as well. I like to have an in-depth understanding of their typical daily schedule, so that I can stick to it closely during our time together. My goal is for your pet to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible, which to me means sticking to their usual routine and activities. I will follow your directions to a tee, and be in contact with updates regularly to keep you informed. If I'm house sitting, dog walking, or doing drop ins, I am happy to care for non-social pups as well. I'll treat your space with the utmost care and respect.
