Pet care experience
Experienced and reliable!
Hello! My name is Madison, and I’ve been a petsitter since May of 2018. I have experience caring for all kinds of animals, including special needs, and I am comfortable giving medications, including injections. I’ve been formally trained in animal behavior and handling from my college employment at a pet store + 2000+ hours of volunteering at my university’s local animal shelter. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Biology, through which I was a pre-vet student and took various animal behavior courses. I am currently a post-baccalaureate student preparing for veterinary school! 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
I follow all instructions that are left, including housesitting duties like bringing in the mail, taking the trash to the curb, watering plants, and setting any alarms. I always clean up after myself and leave your living space as I found it. A walk is included in my both my overnight and drop-in rates for dogs, as are litter box cleanings and medicating.
Ratings and reviews
Another amazing stay with Madison! She’s so great with our extremely grumpy and lazy bulldog and gets him up & moving! 😂😂 thank you again!

She’s the best!

We absolutely love Madison!!

Madison has checked on my cats several times and always does a great job. Thanks so much!

If we could give Madison 6 out of 5 stars, we absolutely would! She takes such amazing care of our girls, and it’s obvious from how excited and comfortable they are with her every time. This was also the first time we’ve ever had someone stay overnight with them, and Madison was an absolute rockstar. Knowing Khione and Mimsy were so well cared for gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We truly couldn’t ask for a better sitter, and we honestly wouldn’t choose anyone else. We can’t recommend Madison highly enough!

Madison is always so good with our beagles and they look forward to her visits!

Schedule
I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week at an animal hospital, some of which start at 6am and others that end at 8pm. Because of my busy schedule, I am not able to provide constant care and I do ask for some flexibility with timing. I cannot accommodate requests made within 24 hours of a booking, and I require a meet and greet for all new clients. I always stay overnight for sittings unless I’m told otherwise. If my schedule is something your animals are used to or that you are comfortable with, I encourage you to reach out!
