I grew up with all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, pygmy goats, guinea pigs, hamsters, parakeets, hermit crabs, hedgehogs, etc). I also pet sat and house sat for others starting in high school. My current landlord does not allow pets and I miss having animals around! I started this profile largely to get to spend time among animals more. I have lots of love, time, and attention to give to pets! I took a pet sitting hiatus to work in Indie Film for a few years, but I’m now back in the pet sitting game :)

In February of 2020, I became a short-term foster parent. DHS did an intensive background check, called multiple references, and conducted interviews. I passed! :) Rest assured, I take caring for other people and pets VERY seriously. I am also happy to follow whatever rules and norms you've established for your pet, from meal times to whether they sleep in the bed or not.

Madison stayed at my home with my cat for a couple of days and was a wonderful sitter; she asks all the right questions and really goes the extra mile to understand your pet’s unique needs and preferences. I came back from my trip to a happy and relaxed kitty and a clean house, and am looking forward to booking her again!
Madison was wonderful to work with! At the meet and greet she made sure she had detailed notes of our dogs care routines and during the stay she sent lots of updates and cared for them like her own! It was so great to know my dogs were in good hands! :)
Madison is incredible! At a pre-trip check in, Madison took detailed notes of our pup’s schedule and preferences and got everything down perfectly. She got along so well with our dog, and her updates were great. We had an awesome trip knowing that our pup was in great hands and would 100% recommend Madison to everyone.
Madison was absolutely wonderful while I was away. She gave Lady Bird so much attention, love, and companionship. She also shared plenty of photos, which I really appreciated, and left my home in even better condition than when I left. I highly recommend Madison for any of your pet care needs.
Madison did a great job taking care of our pups. She kept me up to date with texts and photos, so I knew they were safe and being well cared for. They had lots of playtime and snuggle time. I would definitely use Madison again.
Madison (aka Lyra) was fantastic! She took such good care of Moose and probably took him on more walks than I normally do. I could tell my pup was well cared for while I was gone. You won’t regret hiring her!

Harmonogram
I work full-time remotely, which allows me to spend so much time with pets when their humans are gone! My job as an Operations Manager is very flexible and I can go on walks at any time of day, take pets out for bathroom breaks at any time, and so on. It's easy to replicate your pet's usual schedule as much as possible. I can be at your home during work and after work, making sure your pets get all the love and attention while also making sure your house looks lived in to keep potential burglars at bay. I used to work for a crime prevention non-profit and know the importance of house sitting for crime prevention. As much as possible, I try to avoid leaving at all the first day or so as your pet acclimates to the change of routine. I've got plenty of time and energy I can devote to doting upon your pet.
