Enthusiastic, Caring Dog-Walker
I have had a cat my whole life and my friends and family have always had dogs that I’ve loved caring for! At home I have a mainecoon cat named Kiki. I have been taking care of these pets throughout my childhood. I also worked at an animal shelter in Ontario while I was in high school. I was responsible for educating prospective owners on our animals and ensuring they know how to properly care for them. I also took the dogs on walks, cleaned the facility and fed all the animals. This job was really important to me because I got to provide love and care for these animals that didn’t have homes or owners. Ever since moving to BC I have been wanting to get involved with animals in another way! I believe that my years of experience with animals makes me a great candidate to care for your special pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I will only be offering care in my clients home as my apartment is not pet friendly. I plan to watch any pets I care for closely, ensuring that anytime they are outside they’re on a leash or in a protected fenced in area. After caring for my own pets for years I am also cautious about leaving food out that may be accessible and dangerous to pets.

Madison looked after our poodle Piper ( and our house) for 9days and we were very happy with her service. She was prompt in responding to inquiries, and was available and on time when we needed her. A tidy house and happy dog when we returned home. Definite recommend.
Madison would make an excellent pet sitter/ dog walker for your dog! She has dog sit my dog and took him out for walks several times, and each time he was very excited to see her. She’s very responsible, and will make a great new best friend for your dog!
Madison is a caring person who loves animals. She has a kind and caring personality towards people and pets. She will treat your pets like they are her own. She is relatable and reliable.
I met Madison as a coworker and have since developed an incredibly strong friendship with her. As a dog walker myself, she has volunteered in her free time to come along on my client walks and is amazing with pups! Madison is gentle, loving, and trustworthy. She is reliable and organized with her work life, and any dog parent would be lucky to have her. I hope to get a dog someday soon, and would trust Madison to absolutely spoil and care for my own future pup. She's an absolute gem!

Schedule
I am currently a Behaviour Interventionist and Fitness Instructor in Victoria. Currently I am available anytime for house sitting and in the evenings for dog walking as well as during the day on weekends.
