My name is Declan! I’m 22 years old. I often pet sit with my partner Ciro! Pets have always been a huge and special part of my life. I’ve owned and helped raise both dogs and cats of many breeds and sizes throughout my childhood. I have dog sit and house sit for many friends, family and coworkers since I was 14 and it has been incredible to watch their critters grow. I’ve been raising my cat baby, Wybie, since he was a kitten. He is now 2 years old and loving life. I recently moved far from home to Muncie, Indiana a couple months ago and I now own 3 cats with my partner at home. They’re so special to me and bring me love and joy everyday. I’m so ready and excited to get back into pet sitting, to help out other pet owners out there, and so excited to meet their pet friends.

I have 3 independent but friendly cats that have experience around other cats and dogs. I have plenty of litter boxes for cats and pet beds and toys around my house, as well as a good sized living area for room to roam and to put a crate of any size in, if needed. We have a front yard for potty breaks and a dog friendly neighborhood for walks.

I haven’t had to leave my cats for more than a weekend in years so I was a bit nervous! But Declan was fabulous - I loved the daily updates and found that I was looking forward to the pictures every day that I was gone! And on a pet level, Declan managed to befriend my most skeptical cat, and even expand the group of people whose lap she will voluntarily sit on to a whopping three people. So, he definitely passed the vibe check! The other cat at one point attempted to go home with him, lol. Declan was super communicative and definitely made it a lot easier to not worry about the cats, will definitely book him again when needed!

Declan did a fabulous job taking care of our dogs! Communication and being punctual are two important qualities to me in a person and he checked both of those boxes! We had great communication though-out the entire process and he always came in a timely manner. I loved receiving photos of the dogs from him and he always gave me a thorough report on everything that was going on. Would highly recommend him to anyone!
Declan is a great communicator. He is so efficient and attentive. His attention to detail for our pets is phenomenal. Our Louie has separation anxiety and is a new rescue for us and Declan made us feel so comfortable leaving Louie in his capable hands. We were able to go away and know Declan had everything taken care of and he even went above and beyond what we expected. He gave Louie and Darla Jean the same care we would have. Highly recommend Declan for pet care. We feel so fortunate to have found him.

Schedule
I’m currently only working part time jobs, so I have many days and hours of both the weekdays and weekends as needed to pet sit, whether it includes housesitting or visiting multiple times of the day over any course of time, or they are welcome to stay at my home during the day.
