Pet care experience
Dedicated Veterinary Student
What sets me apart as a sitter is that I turned my lifelong passion for animals into my profession. As an incoming second-year veterinary student at LSU, caring for animals is more than just a job to me, it is truly what I love to do every day. I am passionate about creating a safe, loving, and stress free environment for every pet in my care and treating them with the same compassion and attention I would give my own animals. My veterinary training and hands on experience allow me to confidently care for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring health concerns, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive care for senior pets or animals needing extra support. I also understand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive interactions when caring for puppies and high energy pets. Above all, I genuinely love building trust and connections with animals.

Safety, trust & environment
Animals are truly a central part of my life, and I treat every pet in my care with the same love, attention, and compassion that I give my own. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress free environment where they feel secure and well cared for. I understand that every animal has different routines, personalities, and needs, so I make it a priority to provide individualized care tailored to each pet. Whether that includes playtime, exercise, medications, feeding schedules, enrichment, or simply companionship and affection. I strive to ensure pets feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. My goal is always to provide dependable, attentive, and professional care so that both pets and owners can feel confident and at ease.
Ratings and reviews
Madison is a great choice for your pet caregiver. Madison has loved animals from day one. She has always had dogs growing up and always showed a strong responsibility for them as a young child. As a young child the SPCA commercials would have Madison in tears. She always just wanted to help the animals. Well today she is doing just that. Living her dream as she pursues her care in veterinary medicine at the LSU veterinary medicine school. Madison has rescued 4 cats that she cares for currently that are now living their best life. Madison has even rescued a crow from the street and taken it to the vet to be cared for and nursed back to health. Madison has the most caring heart for animals of all kind. If you’re looking for a responsible caregiver for your babies that comes with a bonus being her loving and caring heart then Madison is your girl!
Madison has cared for my dog on numerous occasions and is a dependable and attentive pet sitter. She ensures my animals are comfortable and well cared for whenever we are out of town. She communicates consistently and provides regular updates and photos, which is greatly appreciated. It is reassuring to know my pets are in such capable hands, and her veterinary training allows her to notice details and provide a level of care that goes beyond that of a typical sitter.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our dog sitter, Madison! She took incredible care of our Maltese, Toby, and treated him like he was her own. We knew he was in great hands from the moment we met her. She kept us updated, gave him so much love and attention, and made sure he felt comfortable and happy while we were away. Toby absolutely adores her, and that says everything. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was safe, loved, and well cared for. She is reliable, caring, trustworthy, and truly amazing with dogs. We are beyond grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone exceptional to care for their pets!

Schedule
Pet care is something I intentionally prioritize within my daily and weekly routine. While I do work part time in a large animal emergency hospital, caring for animals is my passion and an important part of my life. I carefully manage my schedule to ensure that every pet in my care receives the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I understand how important reliability and communication are when trusting someone with your pets, and I am committed to meeting each animal’s individual needs, whether that includes walks, playtime, medications, feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship and comfort while you are away.
