I have been with rover for a couple months now and have sitted many different types of dogs. I have also taken care of four at once. I grew up with 2 dogs so I know how to play, feed, take out the dog when needed very well! I’ve been around dogs my whole life, many family members of mine and my friends own dogs I take care of often. Unfortunately I do not have my 2 dogs anymore. They lived very long and healthy lives but now I would love to take care of your pets to ensure they’re safe and happy too.

Madison was great. Jamie was well cared for during his stay, and Madison sent a daily picture of Jamie doing his dog thingI have to isolate for 3-6 months after my chemo, but when I get back to travelling I will definitely consider Madison for any dog-sitting stays.

Schedule
I still have school going on but before I go to school I take the dogs out and feed them. I’m back around 3:30pm and take them out again and feed them later when my client wants me too. The weekends i’m completely free. This schedule worked great when I had my dogs. I took out and helped my dad feed my own dogs every day for over 5-6 years. I’m familiar with how dogs communicate their needs and I’m very attentive with them.

I have a fenced in backyard and extra leashes, bags, bowls, dog food, treats and dog beds just in case! I feed the dogs depending on the time my clients give me and take them out on walks at least twice a day if the dog can handle it. Throughout the day I do take the dogs to the backyard especially if it’s very hot, like during the summer, the walks are shorter and take them to the back more.
A typical day
I have all sorts of dog toys here and I have plenty of time to give them attention and play with them. When the weather is nice I like to walk the dogs down to my nearest fenced in tennis court and throw a ball around since my backyard is small.
