Hi! I'm Maddy - an experienced animal care professional with a veterinary and surgical technician background. I spent 3 1/2 years working as a vet tech both in surgery and on the floor, placing IV catheters, monitoring anesthesia, doing lab work, and providing hands on medical care. I also spent about 4 years working with various exotic animals including reptiles, small mammals, amphibians, and even alligators. (yes, really. Florida girl at heart.) Services: • Drop-ins, walks, & cat care • Exotic pet care • Short-term in-home stays • Medications • Vet-tech-level tasks (just ask!) • Emotional support for your anxious dog (and possibly you)

Madison has been responsive, knows animals, and always forthcoming with her methods and activities with our cat, Charlee. Highly recommend her for drop ins when you decide to go on vacation. She takes a lot of the anxiety off of the owners knowing their children are in good paws.
I cannot recommend Maddy highly enough! I had to leave town unexpectedly right after my cat was diagnosed with a severe ear infection. I was terrified to leave him, but Maddy completely saved the day. With her experience and background, she perfectly handled his complex medications, monitored his symptoms, and kept him clean, safe, and comfortable. Knowing he was in her care and she was watching over my boy gave me total peace of mind. Maddy is professional, kind, incredibly gentle, and the absolute gold standard of medical pet care!
Madison was absolutely amazing… Charlee said she really enjoyed her new Auntie and would love to have her come back… Madison was very thorough, punctual, responsive, and kind. She took care of things we did not even think of and was always very upfront about our lovely Charlees behavior, and really allowed us to feel that she was in good hands. Highly recommend Madison to look after your fur friends.
Madison is awesome and so caring. She is attentive and so sweet. I have had her visit twice now and both times I felt confident with her taking care of my puppy. I will continue to reach out to her for future visits!
Maddy is so awesome. She’s been doing drop-in visits for my two puppies for a few months now and I can’t help but re-book her every time. She’s so responsive and sends so many photos. We also get personalized cards every visit!
Omg, I didn’t even know where to start this was my first time using Rover, and I was honestly a little nervous about how my fur baby would react. Let’s just say… Maddy is AMAZING! She was so accommodating and kept me completely at ease by sending videos and pictures throughout the day. She even took Lilo to get his favorite pup cups along with her own fur baby 🥹 She truly treated my Lilo like he was her own. Her communication was excellent, and she was so sweet and welcoming from the very beginning. Hands down, I highly recommend her, and I will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Maddy, for taking such great care of my baby!

I am calm, patient, and extremely confident in reading animal behavior. I provide detailed updates, follow instructions closely, and treat every pet as if they were my own.
A typical day
I love stimulation and play time! With dogs we will run, play games, eat yummy snacks, go for long enriching walks, and do dog friendly puzzles. (Lots of cuddles too.) With cats - (depending on your cat's personality) we will hang out, play with toys and do cat friendly enrichment activities. (cardboard castles, cat tv, birdwatching, you name it.) If your cat is not super outgoing, I am willing to hangout and be a comforting presence. Like mentioned before, I respect the vibe. Literally whatever excites your pet, makes them happy, and gives them exercise, I am happy to do.
