I am a stay at home mom, my boys are 2 & 3 years old. They’ve been raised around dogs & already have learned a healthy respect for their space. I am hyper vigilant & always err on the extreme side of caution for everyone’s safety - especially when it comes to those tricky resources. Other than weekly appointments on Mondays - we have a very flexible and open schedule.

Safety, trust & environment

Our yard is fully fenced with 6 foot - reinforced wood fencing. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.

A typical day

My favorite part of working with dogs is seeing what they already know and building off that to see what they can learn. Cognitive and physically demanding enrichment times are offered organically all throughout our day to day lives.

The actual craziest dog lady

Pet care experience

All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve worked hard to help dogs and owners alike understand eachother better - communication often needs no words. I specialize in “project pups”, socialization and reactivity. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. I’ve worked in a rescue as an adoption coordinator and had the extreme pleasure of helping people and pooches find their forever spaces together. Along with rescuing over a dozen dogs of my own over the years & nursing several back to health from horrific conditions. Dogs are my passion - simple as that. Nothing makes me happier than helping a dog & owner relationship thrive.

We cannot recommend and thank Madison enough. She is incredibly punctual, professional, and genuinely caring. She helped us with a complicated family emergency and helped us immensely during an extremely stressful time. It is such a relief knowing our pets are in such capable and loving hands. If you are looking for someone reliable who treats your pets like their own, look no further. We will definitely be booking with her again!
