Can do more than just dogs & cats!
I worked at my local humane society back when I lived in Ontario where I was responsible for daily enclosure cleaning/maintenance as well as keeping an eye out for any unusual or concerning conditions. I handled the animals and made sure to give them some love while I could. It wasn’t my job to do that much, but I just love animals so much and that job brought me a lot of joy. Aside from that job, I’ve handled pets most of my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and more personally for 13 years I had a conure, and for about 7 I had a rabbit. Because of this, I’m very experienced with birds and rabbits especially! I am great with cats too, but my household does have one. She’s an old lady that sleeps mostly and if needed can easily be kept away from any other animals.

My anxious cat adores her! Madison makes her feel safe and comfortable, and will brush her and play with her a lot too. Madison has gone above and beyond, even buying toys for her. I'm glad I have someone gentle and attentive to care for her.
Madison is a definite lover of animals! She treats every animal she meets with nothing but love and care. Considerate and caring and great at taking note of a pet's individual needs! I cannot recommend Madison enough!
Madison is a responsible and diligent pet carer who puts time, attention, and care into looking after each animal entrusted to her care. Her love of animals shines through as she spends time with them and she is willing to go out of her way to prioritize specific care needs of each individual pet. Her time spent with my current and previous dog left them happy and healthy.

Schedule
At home I currently live with a cat who belongs to my sister, but I am her auntie and spend tons of time with her and look after her in ways such as helping with her inhaler, helping clip her nails, brushing, and so on. If my sister is away for any reason, she is fully under my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spare room that is pretty well empty with just a guest bed next to my room in my house, and because I live with a cat with Asthma, I try to keep all spaces (especially that room) scent free. I also have no problem staying at a client’s place for a few nights if we’ve established some comfortability and familiarity. I don’t have supplies or enclosures on my own, so all that would have to be provided by the owner.
Pets
A typical day
I have a trail right behind my house that dog owners love going to! Most of the time I am relaxed and “chill” at home and am always down for naps and cuddles if that’s what the furbaby would like. I love giving affection and I’m happy to even put music or the tv on just for them- whatever they prefer.
