I am currently working full time Monday-Friday at a veterinary clinic. Your pet must be ok on their own for 8 hours or they have the option of coming to work with me. Because of my work experience, a pets needs and welfare are my main priority as it’s engrained in my brain and daily routine😋 I co-own a 8 year old Alaskan Husky named Groot, with high energy. He needs daily enrichment, training, mental + physical stimulation. Any special routines that your pet may follow can easily be added and modified around our daily schedule.

A typical day
I love to stimulate high energy pets mentally and physically. Through walks, hikes, playing outside, practice training sessions, food puzzles, hide and seek, etc. For my lower energy/lazy/senior pets, I like to give them the “royal” treatment. Naps, Pets, snuggles, slow casual walks out side, a bit of playtime and of course some tasty treats :)

Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since I was in diapers. My parents knew from a young age that animal care would be my passion. I grew up raising and caring for cats, dogs, and various small animals on my family’s rural property in Niagara and working on my Uncle’s Dairy Farm. My passion for helping animals at a young age lead me to Ottawa to pursue schooling and career in Veterinary Medicine, ~ 8 years ago. Today I proudly work as a Veterinary Assistant. I have experience working in a 24/7 Emergency Animal Hospital, regular clinics, and the Humane Society. I have also fostered many dogs through Bullies in Need Dog Rescue. I’ll never shy away from a challenge! I can work with a variety of species and sizes. I am more than comfortable with working around medical and behavioural needs.
Reviews

We greatly appreciate Madison taking such good care of our boy. We received updates on how he was doing and what he was doing. Thank you for your patience with our hyper fella and keeping him safe while we were away. 🐾

Madison took excellent care of our dogs while we were away for two weeks. Both dogs have anxiety issues but they quickly warmed up to her. Madison is trustworthy, friendly, and very competent with special needs pets. I would book her again!

My puppy absolutely loves going to Madison's for boarding! And I appreciate the peace of mind knowing she's with an attentive and caring person, who can happily meet all of her needs.

Madison provides Dexter with excellent care and lots of love!
