I have twenty years of pet experience ranging from farm animals to domesticated indoor pets; in fact, I've been around cats and dogs my entire life since day 1! When I was born, we had a family basset hound-beagle mix named Chester, one black cat named Tommy and a grey striped domestic shorthair tabby cat named Serenity. Even though I wasn't old enough to take on the responsibility of pet care until I was 6-7 years old, Chester, Tommy, and Serenity gave me the ability to understand the body language and patience needed for cats and dogs. Growing up on a farm in Ohio, it was a blessing to raise and care for horses, pigs, cats, dogs, and chickens. Throughout the years, my friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with the needs of their fur-babies. For the majority of my life, I have bathed, walked, fed, played, and groomed dozens of animals ranging in all breeds, species, sizes, weights, and ages. I have taken care of puppies starting at eight weeks old and I have been there for an old pup to take their last breath with them. I have experience in care with injured/healing animals, deaf dogs, reactive dogs and cats, puppies, seniors, kittens, and elder cats up to 22 years of age. I loved and taken care of countless animals and fur-babies and I hope to love and take care of yours, too.
