Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and honestly can’t remember a time when I didn’t have pets in my home, besides now since I moved out for college! I worked in a pet shop for two years, where I gained experience caring for animals and learning about their needs and behaviors. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience dog and cat sitting for friends, family, and others, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, providing exercise, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. As a CNA and nursing student, I am CPR certified and understand the importance of responsibility, patience, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I also would love to do any around the house chores that you might need done while I’m stopping in to see your pet or while I’m house sitting!

Maddy was an exceptional sitter for our two dogs! The dogs had a blast going for walks, playing fetch in the yard and getting plenty of snuggles. Maddy was the perfect communicator with frequent updates, photos and videos. We knew our dogs were in great hands with Maddy and we highly recommend her! :)

I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, routines, and household rules to ensure your pet feels secure and cared for. As a CNA and CPR-certified caregiver, I understand the importance of attention to detail and remaining calm in unexpected situations. I believe communication is key, so I love sending photo updates and messages during visits to keep owners informed and give them peace of mind. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet while providing a safe, loving, and reliable experience every time.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy during visits. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, we can enjoy walks or runs around the neighborhood, games of fetch, tug-of-war, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend time cuddling, brushing, and providing companionship. My goal is to make sure every dog / cat gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation while having fun!
