My very first job as young girl was letting my families next door neighbors black lab out after school every day! His name was Guinness, and he was apprehensive with new people. But 10 year old me persisted, and we became friends. Around this time, I began riding horses. In exchange for lessons, I worked on the ranch. By the age of 16, I was responsible for ensuring the well being of 20+ head of horses in exchange for feed, board, and lessons for myself. At 16, I moved out of my parents home to pursue a job in the equine industry. I gained extensive animal care knowledge and understanding through this career. I also gained my own dog, Stoney, along the way. He is now 6, and has been with me since he was about 4 weeks old. I can't wait to meet yours!
