Train and Play while You're Away
I have worked as a professional dog walker for 5 years. It is the best job ever. Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. Booking with me helps fund my education so that I can one day save the world. My dream is to help troubled kids find the peace and compassion that I have found in my love for animals.

Ellie was incredibly flexible, patient, understanding, and made us feel totally comfortable while she was staying with our older dog! Our dog is totally blind and needed special attention, and Ellie gave her just that! She made sure our dog was safe and well looked after, and she sent us a bunch of wonderful pictures! She was always easy to reach and kept in touch with us when she had any questions. I would definitely recommend Ellie to any and all dog parents!

Programma
I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!!

I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.

My dog comes with and plays with dogs who are interested in playing, but does not bother senior dogs or those uninterested in her. She is phenomenal with small dogs, and fascinated (if a little intimidated) by cats.
