I will adhere to any special requests you have when caring for your fur babies in your home. I can provide outside play time in the yard, dog park visits, nature walks, or just some lounge time on the couch. You decide what they need based on their daily lives and personality. I will care for your home and fur babies like they are my own.
Information Madeline W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets have any special issues, medications, or behaviors to adjust to. I completely understand that every animal is different. Having two rescues of my own, I understand that their behaviors and triggers can vary greatly from those of a pet raised in your home since they were a baby. Open communication is key to making your fur babies comfortable when you aren’t there.
A typical day
I will adjust to the energy level of your pet. Whether is sitting on the couch for endless cuddles, playing fetch in the yard, or going on an adventure to sniff everything possible in the neighborhood.

Proud lab, rescue and cat mom.
Pet care experience
As a kid, I grew up with standard poodles and started horseback riding at young age which started my love for animals. I grew up working around the horse farm, taking care of family and friends pets, and volunteering at local rescues. In college, I pursued a pre-veterinary degree at Virginia Tech, but ended up switching degrees to fish and wildlife conservation. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and an animal caretaker for a private farm that had Irish wolfhounds and farm animals. In these positions I gained experience in medication administration, animal care and health, and animal behavior. My fur babies are a 9 year old black lab who I have had since she was 8 weeks old, a 10 year old large mixed breed rescue, and a 4 year old black cat rescue.
