I am currently a full time student at East Tennessee State University over in Johnson City, but stay in Knoxville with my family over the summer! While i’m here, i’m working part-time throughout the week. My schedule changes weekly, but my store has wonderful hours so I am always available after 7pm! I’m happy to make time in my schedule to suit you and your pet’s needs.

Having someone new care for a pet may not always be easy on them, so i’m more than willing to take the time to build trust with your pets. Whether they are timid at first, have an accident in the house, or are reluctant to eat in new company, i’m ready to shake off the dust, clean up, and work on building a good relationship with your pet!

I’ve dealt with my fair share of accidents in the home, administering oral and topical medications, and catering to senior pet needs. Please let me know if you have any concerns about extra TLC your pet may need, or if they have a specific daily routine they need to stick to.
A typical day
Whether they prefer running around in the backyard, throwing a tennis ball for hours, going for a long walks, or snuggling up on the couch, i’m happy to treat your animals to all their favorite activities.

Pet care experience
Working at a pet store, i’ve gained a lot of knowledge on pet behavior and care. I can also give you the best treat and toy recommendations! On a daily basis, i’m cleaning up accidents, wrangling unleashed dogs, being mindful of allergies, and befriending pups of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I’ve got my own golden retriever at home as well! He’s a high energy and attention loving dog, so I’m happy to bring the same level of attentiveness and affection to your furry friends.

Maddie watched all four of my cats for me in December of this year while I was visiting family for about a week. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to watch my cats honestly. She was very meticulous in her care of them which was mainly ensuring they were fed and watered as well as changing litter boxes, all of which she did with no complaint or hesitancy. She also sent daily updates to let me know how they were doing which I appreciated greatly as I missed them a lot. Overall, it was great experience having Maddie watch my cats and I would absolutely recommend her to watch other people’s animals as well.
