Madeline can care for
Availability
I work a typical 9-5 job but am home most evenings. I can check on your bestie during my lunch break, or hang out with them in the evening while you're out on the town! I greatly value flexibility in visit time (especially evening visits), but I strive to maintain a consistent routine for your critters.

About Madeline T.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I give your pets time and space to build a relationship based on trust, and I will never force an interaction that they do not initiate. The only exception to this rule is for necessary care, like medication administration or putting them in a carrier for transport. I am very detail-oriented and follow any and all directions you leave for me. I will meet your pet's vibe, so we can play for the entire visit or sit on the floor and stare at each other--whatever they're in the mood for! I also strive to leave your home in better condition than you left it in. If you're gone for a longer duration, I will bring in the mail, water plants, and do any random home maintenance items upon request!
Information Madeline T. would like to know about your pet
I like to get to know your pet's temperament and general care routine prior to arranging a meet and greet. Please let me know how they typically interact with strangers (shy, reactive, totally outgoing), any triggers they may have, necessary medications, and special care requirements outside of usual needs (food, water, bathroom, play).
A typical day
I love coming up with unique enrichment opportunities for animals! Whether that's sitting in a brand new custom cardboard palace, or using that box to forage for treats, your furry friends will have a wonderful time! Recently, I've been teaching my cat clients new tricks (touch, high five, stand, etc.)!

Cat care experience
NOW ACCEPTING NEW CAT DROP-IN CLIENTS! I greatly value any flexibility in visit time (at least 1-2 hours around the selected visit time), but I will work with you to figure out a great solution for your kitties! I grew up with cats and currently have two of my own. One of my kitties came to me with a history of behavioral house soiling, so I am VERY good at cleaning the litter boxes multiple times a day and getting the urine smell out of almost anything. I have experience administering oral medication, as my own cat takes a daily medication for the aforementioned issue. I understand cat behavior well and am often called upon by my friends and family to hang out with their besties while they are out of town. I will meet your cats' energy levels and provide whatever type of enrichment they please. Do they like to fetch the spring toy? I'll toss it back and forth until they get tired. Need more active play? We'll run around with the mouse on a string! I also love coming up with creative enrichment opportunities using things lying around the house!
Reviews

Madeline was an absolute delight! She absolutely spoiled Hallie and Annie with love and attention. And we felt equally as spoiled with her thorough write-ups, photos and videos. Madeline even left us with watercolor portraits of Hallie and Annie that I will forever cherish and plan to frame! Madeline is a gem - I would love to work with her again in the future because it’s clear she truly cares for our fur babies like they’re her own. Thank you, Madeline!

Madeline was extremely communicative and took such good care of my Tilly! I appreciate the report card and lots of photos :)

I was looking for a new cat sitter as our previous cat sitter became unavailable. So glad I found Madeline- she is attentive and thorough. Highly recommend her!

Wow! Madeline is so wonderful. She was patient with my little troublesome one and responsive, proactive, caring and went the extra mile to make sure both cat and owners were happy. I would highly recommend Madeline with your furry friends. Thank you, Madeline and Rover!
