While working on my Master’s in School Counseling at EMU and working at Burns Park Elementary, I am always looking for more opportunities to meet and enrich pets lives. I am a strong advocate for humane treatment of all animals and use my knowledge from my time at HSHV to do just that. I am available most weekends as well as afternoons during the week:)

Information Madeline S. would like to know about your pet

It is important for me to know how your dog does when coming into contact with new people or other dogs. Any previous issues can be managed through avoidance of triggers as well as preparation!

A typical day

Enrichment is important for a dog's life to be enjoyable. A bored dog is a naughty dog, so play and exercise is essential. From throwing a ball to running alongside them, I like to get in the action. My favorite spots would be anywhere semi-secluded with lots of nature and fresh air.

Pet care experience

Hey there! I've always had a love for animals and have grown up around a plethora of them! While working at the Humane Society of Huron Valley from 2021-2024 I have gained both medical and professional experience in the ways of handling animals of all kinds. I have been trained in walking dogs of all sizes, behavior modification/training, as well as medicating!

Madeline was great! This was our second time having her cat sit, and we would 100% rebook. Our cat warmed up to her and got lots of cuddles and attention. Madeline also let us know ASAP when our cat had a minor health issue, which was greatly appreciated!

My cat always seems happy with Madeline stopping by, and she's really good at being in tune with what a cat wants
