I’ve been taking care of dogs since our family dog came into our lives when I was in high school. She was a special momma who with the help of my educational background and our local vet, we were able to catch her diagnosis of Addison’s disease early on—ultimately, saving her life. For the 12+ years that we had her, I helped manage her daily care and routine medications until she crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022. These days, my husband and I care for Thumper, our rescued mini Dachshund-mix. His vibrant and curious nature requires many walks, puzzles, and cuddles whenever possible!
