Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I currently work weekdays from 8–5, but I make time before and after work for walks, feedings, drop-ins, playtime, and companionship. I’m especially flexible on weekends, which allows me to dedicate even more time and attention to pets who may need extended care or extra visits. As a pet owner myself, I understand the love, patience, and compassionate care that fur babies need to feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I have a Chihuahua of my own, so I’m very familiar with maintaining routines, paying attention to behavior and comfort levels, and treating pets like family. I also pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and flexible whenever possible to help meet both pet and owner needs. 🐾

Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets. Having worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years, I understand the importance of being attentive, dependable, detail-oriented, and aware of changes in behavior or routine. I take pride in creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines as closely as possible because I know consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions if needed, and any special care requests. I also make sure doors, gates, leashes, and surroundings are secure at all times during walks and visits. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby in someone else’s care. I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same level of attention I would want for my own Chihuahua. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos to help owners feel reassured and connected while away. 🐾

Our sweet Lola was always in good hands with Madeline. Lola is older but still likes to get out for walks. And has been known to take off with the right incentives (squirrels, etc.). Madeline always kept good control of Lola. Madeline also was great at following our dietary directions just so. Occasionally she had to apply or give meds too and did so as needed without problems. Finally, the snuggles, love and attention was there for Lola too. Madeline is a great doggie resource for us!
