The cats are fed twice a day (1/2 can of wet food per meal) and the litter boxes are thoroughly scooped every day. Enrichment through play, leash walks, and playing with each other depending on the cat's preferences. The dog is a pit/lab mix and is fed twice a day (1 cup per meal) and is walked at least 4 times per day or whenever she needs to go out. Enrichment is provided through lick mats, puzzle toys, and regular toys. We work on training as often as possible.

A typical day
A typical day would consist of at least two long walks/runs and lots of fetch! I’m very creative so if your dog/cat likes puzzles I’m great at coming up with ideas. For seniors, I can do wagon rides (if you have a wagon) so they can sniff or short walks if that’s more their speed. For cats we can play with favorite toys or walks if they like that instead. For my more shy clients I can just sit and hang out or provide a lap to snuggle if they get lonely!

Pet care experience
I have three cats and a recent rescue dog. I have experience socializing dogs and cats including recent rescues/terrified animals. I have sat for animals of all ages and administered medications effectively to both dogs and cats. In addition to dogs and cats I can also take care of reptiles, arthropods, and small mammals. My parents have a 14-year-old dog that requires daily medication, eye drops, and mobility aide and I frequently care for him so you can rest assured that I can care for seniors! I also have experience with heartworm positive pups that are in treatment, as my girl just went through it herself.

Madeline was awesome!!! Thank you for taking care of our boys!

Madeline was excellent. Madeline watched my two dogs and kept me updated through the weekend. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs someone to watch and stay at there house.
Madeline is a great caregiver of all kinds of animals. She is a loving caregiver but knows when to be cautious with new animals. She handles pets making big messes with grace. She is amazing with shelter animals treating them with extreme patience and overwhelming amounts of love. She would save a spider and put it outside before letting someone step on it. Madeline is an amazing, loving caregiver and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
I wish I could include a picture to show you how happy my pup was the whole time Maddie pet sat for me. Usually he gets a lil melancholy when we leave, doesn’t eat a whole bunch and just kinda sleeps but that wasn’t the case with Maddie! She sent me pictures to keep me in the loop, and he looked just as happy and goofy as normal! That guilt of not being able to take him with us everywhere we go always bums me out but I very quickly realized he was in amazing hands and he was having his own fun. I’d highly recommend Maddie for any pet sitting needs!
